With a decade in SEO-driven blogging, I focused on podcast search algorithms while others relied on social media and word of mouth.

I applied what I learned to episode titles, show descriptions, show notes, and podcast metadata.

My Story (The Short Version)

I started The Thought Card in 2015 as a travel and personal finance blog.

I quickly learned SEO was key to growing an audience without burnout.

Then in 2018, I launched my podcast with the same SEO mindset baked in from Day 1.

The result: 100,000 downloads in three years—without paid ads, viral moments, or daily social posts.

In the process, I won awards, earned grants, spoke at major conferences, and guested on almost 300 podcasts, including Unpacked by Afar and Side Hustle Nation.

In 2023, Ausha named my coaching among the best, and Rephonic called me a must-follow podcast coach.
